Transport police stopped the unlawful actions of a passenger who violated order on board an aircraft. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on a flight en route from Moscow to Astana. After the aircraft landed at Astana airport, the man was handed over to officers of the transport police department under an act.
“Transport police established that a 36-year-old foreign citizen was in a state of alcohol intoxication and violated public order. He failed to comply with the demands of the aircraft crew and used obscene language that insulted the honor of other passengers,” police said.
The offender was held liable for several offenses at once: petty hooliganism, drinking alcoholic beverages or appearing in public places while intoxicated, as well as violation of the rules of conduct on an aircraft.
By court decision, the foreign citizen was arrested for 12 days. It was also established that the passenger had previously, within a year, been held liable for drinking alcoholic beverages.
