The active phase of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) "Rubezh" exercises has concluded in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the exercise scenario, the "enemy" took control of part of the border area and seized a settlement.

During the exercises, aviation, unmanned systems, electronic warfare assets, air defense systems and multiple launch rocket systems were used.

The exercises were held in conditions as close as possible to real combat.

About 1,500 servicemen and operational groups from CSTO member states took part in the maneuvers.

More than 300 units of military and special equipment and 115 unmanned aerial vehicles were also involved.
