On August 23, Kazakhstan is holding elections of deputies of the new unicameral parliament – the Quryltai. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

A briefing of representatives of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly dedicated to the progress of parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan is taking place at the Sputnik Kazakhstan multimedia press center.

International observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly are monitoring the voting process at polling stations.
