Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Taalatbek Masadykov commented on the strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a bus carrying children in the Bryansk region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on June 17. A Belarusian youth football team was heading to the resort city of Gelendzhik, Russia. There were 44 passengers on board, including 28 young athletes from the Children's and Youth Sports School No. 2 in Rechitsa.
As a result of the strike, one woman accompanying the group was killed. There are injured children. Two children are in intensive care.
Masadykov's statement: "On behalf of the CSTO Secretariat, I express condolences to our Belarusian colleagues in connection with the strike on a bus with Belarusian citizens, including children, in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. Currently, it is known that one passenger was killed and eight were injured," he wrote. He condemned Kyiv's attack on children.
