National Guard servicemen will be able to anonymously report corruption, abuses and violations of their rights to the command via messenger. The ULAN SENIM system is being tested in military unit 6654 in the city of Alatau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The project works on the basis of the Kazakh messenger Aitu. To send an appeal, a serviceman needs to scan a QR code, select a category and describe the problem. The message will be registered and forwarded to the head. Three days are allotted for processing each appeal.

One can complain about living conditions, material and clothing provision, violations of legality or relations in the team. The system also accepts suggestions — for example, about changing the daily routine, organizing days off or the menu in the canteen.

«ULAN SENIM provides several improved sections: submission of an anonymous appeal, selection of a category, tracking of the request and history of previous sent appeals,» the National Guard said.

A separate cabinet is provided for the command, allowing control over the consideration of appeals and their execution.

So far, the project is being tested in one unit. At this stage, they check how the sending and registration of messages, their consideration and control of execution work. After eliminating the shortcomings, the system can be extended to other units of the National Guard.

Earlier, on the basis of the same military unit 6654 in Alatau, they began training crews of domestic armored vehicles «Barys 6x6». The course was attended by mechanics-drivers and gunners-operators from units of Almaty, Turkestan and Kostanay, as well as the National Guard Academy in Petropavlovsk. The vehicle accommodates up to 11 people and is designed to operate at temperatures from −50 to +50 °C.
