National Bank Governor Timur Suleimenov stated that if an additional 5 trillion tenge is withdrawn from the National Fund, the amount of payments to children will not decrease. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the draft republican budget, over the next three years, it is planned to withdraw 6.86 trillion tenge in guaranteed transfers from the National Fund, plus another 5 trillion tenge in targeted transfers. The additional funds will be used to finance particularly important facilities and projects.
According to the head of the National Bank, Timur Suleimenov, even if an additional 5 trillion tenge is withdrawn from the National Fund, the annual payments to children will not decrease.
«"5 trillion tenge will be withdrawn over three years. According to the government's forecast, the National Fund's assets will grow in 2029. Therefore, the fund will still grow, and the investment income for which we are responsible will also increase. The amounts credited to children's accounts will also increase," Suleimenov said at a briefing in Astana.»
