On the eve of the National Dombra Day, servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan staged an unusual musical performance in the capital. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The guardsmen played the famous kui 'Balbyrauyn' by Kurmangazy against the backdrop of the Sarkyrama waterfall on the Yesil River. About 50 servicemen of the National Guard took part in the musical project, including both conscripts and officers.
According to the organizers, the creative act was a congratulation for all Kazakhstanis and a reminder that preserving cultural heritage is as important a part of serving the Motherland as performing official duties. This highlights that servicemen not only fulfill their daily tasks but also contribute to the promotion of culture.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that a record number of grants were awarded to Kazakhstan guardsmen under the 'Conscript 2.0' program. This program provides servicemen with opportunities for education and professional development.
