On July 4, adverse weather conditions are expected in Uralsk, Aktobe, and at night in Atyrau, Kazhydromet reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions can lead to increased air pollution. This is a combination of short-term weather factors — calm, light wind, fog, and inversion — that contribute to the accumulation of pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere.

On such days, residents are advised to reduce time spent outdoors, especially near highways and other sources of pollution.

People with chronic lung diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and allergic diseases are advised to carry necessary medications when going outside.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that storm warnings have been issued across Kazakhstan for July 4. In several regions, rain, thunderstorms, hail, squally wind, heat, fog, dust storms, and mudflow threats are forecast.

Impact of adverse weather conditions

During adverse meteorological conditions (AMC), the concentration of harmful substances in the air increases. This is especially dangerous for people with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Experts recommend closing windows and doing wet cleaning indoors on such days.
