Heavy rains and floods in India's Jammu and Kashmir region have killed 12 people. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Indian Express.

According to the publication, incessant rains caused floods in the Rajouri and Poonch districts. "On Sunday, floods in Poonch and Rajouri swept away vehicles, destroyed houses and roads, resulting in 12 deaths," writes Indian Express.

The publication also noted that many residential houses were flooded, and mudslides caused significant damage to local infrastructure.
