Turkey believes that the possibility of a ceasefire in Ukraine still exists. This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a press conference in Kyiv. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"At the end of this thick darkness, light may have begun to appear. Therefore, we do not lose hope," Fidan said. According to him, Ankara continues to maintain diplomatic contacts and hopes for the parties to return to the negotiating table. The minister noted that despite the current difficult situation, Turkey believes that the possibility of a ceasefire and political settlement of the conflict remains. Hakan Fidan also emphasized that Ankara will continue to work with all parties to find a peaceful solution.
