A resident of Otyrar district, Turkistan region, who went missing with her four children, has been found safe and sound. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Information about the disappearance of the mother and four children was published on social media a week ago. It was reported by relatives of the family. According to them, when relatives came to visit, they did not find the woman or her four children.

Later, the woman's husband filed a police report stating that his wife had left home with their four children 7 days ago and had not been heard from.

Officers from the Organized Crime Control Department of the Turkistan Regional Police Department and the Otyrar District Police Department jointly launched an operational search. The missing woman had four children aged 6, 5, 3 years and 10 months.

Police set up checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the district and inspected vehicles. Special alerts were also sent to neighboring areas, and search efforts were intensified. Comprehensive operational measures aimed at finding the citizens were carried out continuously, said the Turkistan Regional Police Department.

The missing woman was found with her children in a taxi and taken to the police station. According to police, the woman had rented an apartment and was hiding.

During the investigation, it was established that the woman had a domestic dispute with her husband, took offense, and left with the children and documents for Shymkent city. There she rented an apartment without telling anyone, police said.

Currently, close relatives have been summoned, and police officers have conducted preventive explanatory work. Family members reconciled and returned home safely.
