A police officer died while performing his duties in Turkistan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on July 2. While performing his duties in the city of Turkistan, senior inspector of the patrol police battalion of the city police department, police captain Bauyrzhan Konysbekov, tragically died.
The patrol police crew was stopping a driver who had grossly violated traffic rules and posed a threat to other road users. However, at the intersection of Sattarkhanov Avenue and Taraz Street, the police officer in a service car "Chevrolet Cobalt" was involved in a traffic accident. Bauyrzhan Konysbekov died at the scene.
Police captain Bauyrzhan Konysbekov was faithful to the oath and honorably fulfilled his duty to the end. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Police Department of Turkistan Region, and the personnel of internal affairs bodies express condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov also expressed condolences to the family.
