In Turkestan, a boy who wore a police uniform and was walking in a yard was taken to a police station along with his father. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The police commented on the incident. A video of a boy in a police uniform stopping cars in the city of Turkestan is being discussed on social media.

The boy was taken to the police station with his father. The father expressed dissatisfaction with their action. According to him, the police took the child's tablet.

Social media users reacted differently: one wrote that "they undermined the authority of the police in front of the child," while another said that "the police could have just given a warning." The police department of the Turkestan region commented on the incident.

"No one punished the child for wearing a police uniform or dreaming of becoming a police officer. On the contrary, we support children's aspiration to link their future with police service. But in this case we are talking about something completely different," the police department said.

According to them, the boy went out onto the road in the evening and stopped moving cars. His father stood nearby and filmed what was happening.

"Such actions pose a threat to the child's life and health. Careless movement of drivers could lead to tragic consequences. A preventive talk was held with the boy and his father. No liability measures were applied to the child himself," the police said.

An administrative case was filed against the father for improper performance of parental duties. Dreaming of becoming a police officer is very good. But one must not endanger a child's life for a video, the press service of the Turkestan region police department said.
