In the Turkistan region, on the Almaty-Tashkent-Termez highway, the police digital system detected a Toyota Camry with a fake license plate. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Information about the car was immediately transmitted to the patrol police crew, who stopped it and conducted an inspection. However, when attempting to stop the vehicle, the driver disobeyed the lawful demand of the police officer and tried to evade.

Patrol police officers promptly detained the offender. It was established that the driver was a 26-year-old resident of the village of Zhana Turmys. He was brought to administrative responsibility under several articles.

Specifically, for using a fake state registration plate, driving without proper documents, and disobeying a lawful demand of a government official.

By court decision, the offender was sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest. Additionally, he was fined 40 MCI (monthly calculation index). The car was confiscated and placed in a special parking lot.
