Civil servants in Saryagash district, Turkistan region, have been fired for gambling. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Employees of a state agency gambled during work hours. Such actions undermine the principles of civil service, official ethics requirements, and the reputation of state bodies, prosecutors said.

"Four employees of state bodies who violated the law have been dismissed from their positions," the Turkistan region prosecutor's office stated.

Work to eliminate offenses that damage the reputation of the civil service continues.
