In the city of Arys, Turkistan region, a drunk woman driving a car caused the death of three people. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A JAC-brand car hit five people who were resting on a bench near a house. As a result, three people died, two of them children. Two other people were injured.
Police officers immediately arrived at the scene. As a result of operational search measures, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility, the Turkistan Regional Police Department reported.
The two injured were taken to a medical facility and provided with necessary assistance. An investigation is currently underway.
