Drunk Woman Hits Five People in Turkistan Region: Three Dead
As reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan, in the city of Arys, Turkistan region, a drunk woman driving a car caused the death of three people. The car hit five people resting on a bench near a house. As a result, three people died, two of them children. Two more people were injured. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the police department of the Turkistan region, the driver of a JAC car, while intoxicated, hit several people and fled the scene. Police officers immediately arrived at the scene. As a result of operational search measures, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Two victims were taken to a medical facility and provided with necessary assistance. Currently, an investigation is underway.
This incident once again reminds of the dangers of drunk driving. The police warn of strict measures against drunk drivers.
