The prosecutor's office of Zhetysai district in Turkestan region, bordering Uzbekistan, has identified cases of illegal employment of foreigners. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The prosecutor's office of Zhetysai district conducted an analysis of compliance with migration legislation. During the inspection, prosecutors identified foreigners staying in the country without registration, as well as cases of illegal use of foreign labor.
As a result of the inspection, 181 people were fined a total of 2.8 million tenge. The prosecutor's office noted that issues of compliance with migration legislation are under constant supervision of the oversight body.
Earlier, official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Zhetibayev, denied information about negotiations with the European Union on creating refugee detention centers in the country.
