A technical fault was found on one of the aircraft at Turkistan International Airport. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on the runway. The information spread on social media, where various assumptions about the event were voiced.
The press service of the Transport Police Department confirmed to our correspondent that the aircraft had a technical fault.
"On September 11, a technical fault appeared on one of the aircraft on the runway of Turkistan airport. Currently, the necessary work is being carried out to fix the fault. There are no injuries," representatives of the department told our correspondent.
It has not yet been clarified why the aircraft broke down, whether it was a passenger aircraft, or the circumstances of the incident.
