Deputies of the Kurultai proposed a new way to identify drivers who disturb people's sleep at night. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today in cities, nighttime quiet requirements are often violated by the loud noise of motorcycles and tuned cars. Some drive between residential buildings and deliberately create loud noise.
According to deputy Kendebay Adambek, one way to solve the problem is to install an acoustic system that automatically records excessive noise levels. He noted that in the United States automatic acoustic cameras are used, and in some cases vehicle confiscation is also envisaged. In Germany and France, nighttime raids are conducted and special mobile laboratories are used.
In addition, the deputy believes it is necessary to increase the fine. Currently, a fine of 5 MCI, that is 21,625 tenge, is provided for disturbing the peace at night.
The «Әділет» faction sent several proposals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They include: creating permanent joint crews of patrol police and district inspectors to identify illegal nighttime races; placing the offender's vehicle in a special parking lot until illegally introduced technical changes are fully removed; developing a clear procedure for classifying road violations as petty hooliganism.
