President Donald Trump unveiled the new Air Force One, a retrofitted former Qatari jet, and flew to North Dakota for his first trip aboard. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Associated Press.
The new presidential aircraft was converted from a large airliner previously owned by a Qatari airline. Trump departed from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on July 1, 2026.
According to White House officials, the cabin was completely renovated and equipped to meet presidential security standards. The exterior was painted in traditional white and blue colors.
Trump told reporters: "This is a very beautiful plane. We are proud of it." The trip to North Dakota is linked to his participation in a local economic forum.
