The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) presented President Donald Trump with an exclusive ring featuring 321 natural diamonds to mark the 250th anniversary of US independence. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The ring was designed and created by Antwerp jeweler and diamond master David Gotlieb. The design is inspired by Super Bowl championship rings and contains references to the anniversary date.
The ring is made of 18-karat gold and, in addition to 321 natural diamonds, is adorned with 75 precious stones. The ring also symbolizes the historical trade relations between the two countries.
The statement clarifies that the gift was accepted by the US Ambassador to Belgium, Bill White. The diplomat said the US is deeply honored by the "magnificent ring."
"The United States has been our most important trading partner for generations. A significant portion of the natural diamonds sold in Antwerp eventually ends up with American jewelers and consumers. With this ring, we wanted to highlight these strong economic ties and also demonstrate what Antwerp represents on the world stage: trust, craftsmanship, and natural diamonds," said Isidore Mörsel, Chairman of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC).
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Trump's sons and the US Secretary of Commerce earned money from a deposit in Kazakhstan.
