US President Donald Trump has said he intends to stop another war — the ninth — in the near future. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
He usually uses this phrase to refer to the conflict in Ukraine. "I stopped eight wars, there is one more left," Trump said in an interview with journalists at the White House.
He made the remark while saying he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. However, Trump did not specify which war he plans to stop.
He also stated that he had prevented several conflicts. Trump has repeatedly said before that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.
However, in 2025 the prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition figure María Corina Machado. Later, Machado met with Trump and presented him with the Nobel Peace Prize medal.
She said Trump deserves the award.
