US President Donald Trump believes Russia and Ukraine are close to reaching an agreement to end the conflict. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Earlier, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov announced that a Russian delegation would take part in trilateral talks between Russia, the US and Ukraine scheduled for 10-11 November in Abu Dhabi.
"I think both sides are close to saying: 'Let's make a deal'," Donald Trump said in an interview with the Financial Times.
According to the publication, Trump gave a positive assessment of the progress in peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
