US President Donald Trump said he hopes to hold a new summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin after the conflict in Ukraine ends. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In an interview with reporters, Trump said: "I am confident that I can meet with Putin right now. I want to meet when the conflict is over, and I think we will do that."
The US President noted that he has an ongoing dialogue with both Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. "I am working with both, that is, with Putin and Zelensky, and I think they will stop the conflict in Ukraine," Trump said.
Donald Trump stressed that the US is interested in establishing good relations with Russia, Ukraine, and all countries, as this would be beneficial for business.
