US President Donald Trump has not approved Kyiv's request to use Starlink-equipped drones for strikes on Russian territory. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Financial Times.
Financial Times, citing its sources, reported that Zelensky asked Trump to discuss with Elon Musk the issue of obtaining permission for Ukraine to use Starlink outside its borders. However, according to participants in the meeting at the White House, Trump did not give a concrete answer to this proposal and appeared not to support it.
Earlier in August, The Atlantic magazine also reported that the head of SpaceX is reluctant to use satellite technology for such purposes. The billionaire fears further escalation of the conflict.
