US President Donald Trump is touting a new peace deal with Iran, with Vice-President JD Vance saying Tehran's nuclear programme has been "comprehensively destroyed". This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.

But former President Barack Obama says any new agreement is unlikely to be "significantly different" from the deal he struck with Iran in 2015.
