US President Donald Trump intends to address the topics of peace agreements and sovereignty in his speech at the UN General Assembly next week. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
This was stated by the US permanent representative to the organization, Mike Waltz. In an interview with the Breitbart News Saturday radio program, he said: "You will hear much of what he has said about sovereignty, about advancing issues on the international agenda, about the peace agreements that helped develop over the past year."
Waltz noted that Trump is trying to end the conflict in Ukraine, which began under Joe Biden.
In addition, the American permanent representative said that the head of the White House will address the topic of Iran.
"You will hear his very clear statement that the Iranian regime must not obtain nuclear weapons under any circumstances. He pays a lot of attention to this, and this will be a moment to continue diplomacy," Waltz added.
Trump's speech at the UN General Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday.
