US President Donald Trump said that former President Joe Biden's stance on Russia also contributed to the start of the war in Ukraine. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"You know, this war partly started because Biden constantly mocked Russia and other countries, completely not understanding what he was doing. If I had been president, there would have been no war," Trump said in an interview with Gray Media.
Earlier, Trump stated that Biden spent hundreds of billions of dollars on Ukraine, but the US is not obligated to provide assistance to Kyiv.
Trump also said that Russia is more interested in reaching a peace agreement than Ukraine.
