U.S. President Donald Trump will meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, July 8, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, the White House announced. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the American leader's schedule, the meeting with Zelenskyy is planned for Wednesday, July 8, at 2:30 p.m. and will last one hour.

The White House said Trump will meet with Syria's interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa at 3:30 p.m. The U.S. president will also hold a press conference at 4:15 p.m.

Earlier, Donald Trump stated that he had met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France. However, the U.S. president then commented that "all our attention is now focused on Iran."
