New System of Benefits
Today, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also commented on the new procedure for assigning state benefits. Starting next year, dozens of benefits will be assigned based on the socio-economic situation of each family.
"This complex issue must be resolved 'without killing the ox or breaking the cart,' in a balanced, serious manner. It is absolutely unacceptable to cause harm while trying to do too much. Any reform must be carried out on the basis of deep analysis, careful study and maximum consideration of the situation of citizens," Tokayev said.
