The government and akims must pay special attention to the quality of roads in cities and within the country, that is, outside large or small cities. This was stated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his speech at an event within the framework of the 'Taza Kazakhstan' environmental campaign. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
'This is our weakest point, it must be acknowledged. No one could solve it or showed willingness to solve it. We will apply strict measures within the framework of the law,' said Tokayev.
The president also said he would keep the quality of construction in the country under strict control. In his opinion, Kazakhstan should be a large construction site.
'The quality of construction must be very high. I personally will pay special attention to this issue and keep this work under strict control. People who violate this instruction and the relevant rules will certainly be punished under our laws,' says the head of state.
