Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and the Kyrgyz people on Independence Day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In a congratulatory message distributed by the Kyrgyz leader's press service, it was stated: "This significant day symbolizes the Kyrgyz people's aspiration for freedom, sovereignty, and independence. Over these years, Kyrgyzstan has traversed a difficult path from its formation to sustainable development, strengthened its statehood, preserved its rich spiritual heritage, and become a respected state on the international arena."
According to Tokayev, the election of the Kyrgyz Republic as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for 2027-2028 is a clear confirmation of this. He also mentioned large-scale reforms aimed at ensuring economic growth and improving the well-being of the Kyrgyz people.
"Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan adhere to genuinely fraternal relations based on centuries-old traditions of friendship and good neighborliness. Our countries, relying on a solid foundation of mutual trust and cooperation, continuously develop strategic partnership and alliance," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The President expressed confidence that Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations will continue to strengthen dynamically for the benefit of the peoples and the prosperity of Central Asia. In conclusion, he wished Sadyr Japarov inexhaustible energy and success in public life, and the fraternal people of Kyrgyzstan prosperity and flourishing.
