President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has given the first assignment to Kazakhstan's Vice President Yerlan Karin. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Opening the first session of the National Kurultai, the head of state noted that there is concrete work ahead. According to him, persistent work is needed to implement the plans.
The President said it is important to widely explain the Constitution among the population. Lawyers, scientists, teachers, volunteers, entrepreneurs, veterans and statesmen should be involved in this work.
"The task of the Presidential Administration is to form a comprehensive and systematic approach to this work. I entrust the implementation of this task to Vice President Yerlan Tynymbayuly Karin. He will report directly to the president on the progress of the work once every two weeks," Tokayev said.
It is worth noting that Yerlan Koshanov had previously been appointed Chairman of the National Kurultai. The Council has begun its work.
