President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Tajik people on the 35th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The head of state noted that Tajikistan has achieved great success in state governance, socio-economic development, as well as in protecting and promoting national interests on the world stage during its years of sovereignty.
"The people of Kazakhstan sincerely rejoice in the achievements of your country. We highly value friendly relations and mutual support. I am confident that through our joint efforts, Kazakh-Tajik strategic partnership and alliance will continue to strengthen for the benefit of the two fraternal peoples," the telegram reads.
Tokayev wished Emomali Rahmon success in his responsible state service, and the fraternal Tajik people prosperity and well-being.
