Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent congratulations to participants of the ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the North Kazakhstan region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The President noted that during this time the Kyzylzhar region has traversed a path of development and become a land with a rich history.
Economic Development of the Region
The congratulatory message states that currently North Kazakhstan is considered one of the grain regions of the country. "Our farmers have mastered the intricacies of agriculture and are making a great contribution to ensuring the food security of the state," the message reads.
Along with agriculture, the processing industry and mechanical engineering are actively developing in the region. Investment projects are being implemented, and production facilities have been commissioned.
Historical Figures and Cultural Heritage
"This region bears the trace of the famous Abylai Khan, who in difficult times preserved the unity of the country and became a symbol of wisdom and foresight," the President said.
He noted that North Kazakhstan has produced state and public figures known to our people and the whole world, outstanding representatives of culture and literature, labor veterans, many respected personalities, famous athletes, and qualified law enforcement specialists.

Tokayev emphasized that in the region, representatives of various ethnic groups maintain traditions of mutual respect and friendship, living in peace and harmony.
