President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended and spoke at the XII international military-patriotic youth gathering 'Aibyn' held in Shchuchinsk, Akmola region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The head of state noted that this is a very important event that strengthens the spirit of the younger generation and educates them in patriotism. According to the President, being a patriot means supporting the state's policy and strategy in practice, contributing to the country's welfare, and taking responsibility for the fate of the native land.

"Among these sacred duties, defending the Motherland is a special, holy duty. Military service is a sign of citizenship and a honorable constitutional obligation," Tokayev said.

The President stated that Kazakhstan is consistently modernizing its Armed Forces. Digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and advanced training standards are being actively introduced into the army and military education system. "This is the demand of the times," he said.

According to the head of state, to withstand today's complex challenges, our preparedness must be impeccable. "We live in an era when the fire of war is flaring up and military conflicts are escalating," Tokayev emphasized.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that the country pays close attention to the comprehensive development of the younger generation. He particularly highlighted the importance of events like the 'Aibyn' gathering, aimed at fostering a patriotic spirit among youth.
