President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the city ecopark in Shchuchinsk after a major renovation during a working trip to Akmola Region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

During a walk through the park, the head of state was greeted by young dombra players. The children performed kuis and said they are actively preparing for the National Dombra Day, holding rehearsals outdoors.

The renovated ecopark has become one of the favorite leisure spots for residents. Conditions for walking, sports, and family recreation have been created here.

Then the president visited the Burabay Arena sports palace. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev inspected the table tennis hall, swimming pool, and gyms. The sports complex operates sections in six sports.

The president was briefed on the development of sports and tourism in the region, as well as projects in this area.

Afterwards, Tokayev met with famous athletes of Akmola Region. The athletes thanked the head of state for supporting domestic sports and attention to the development of sports infrastructure.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that the president donated a bus to the Shokan Ualikhanov Military College, where Tokayev was shown modern domestic military developments and digital IT platforms.
