President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked the heads of foreign states who sent warm congratulations on the successful holding of the first unicameral Mazhilis elections in the history of independent Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In particular, Tokayev expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
"President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the leaders of friendly states success in implementing their projects and programs aimed at the sustainable development of their countries," the statement said.
In addition, congratulations were received on behalf of the heads of the SCO, CIS, CSTO, EAEU, ECO, TURKSOY and other international organizations.
