Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has ordered the introduction of a three-year moratorium on inspections of small and micro businesses starting in 2027. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In today's address, the president touched upon the issue of business inspections. Over the current year, the number of violations by entrepreneurs decreased by 34%. However, the volume of fines increased by 11%. The number of unscheduled inspections also grew.
«In this regard, an analysis of business activity shows one thing. It is enough not to hinder business. Here, the experience of the moratorium on inspections of small and micro businesses in place during 2020-2023 would be useful,» Tokayev said.
The president proposed that the Kurultai and the government consider introducing another three-year moratorium starting January 1, 2027. But previous experience must be taken into account.
