Summit and expected document
Tokayev will take part in the first Central Asia — South Korea summit at the level of heads of state. Following the meeting, the Seoul Declaration on cooperation in energy, AI and digitalization is expected to be adopted.
Previous meetings at the BRICS summit
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that during his participation in the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Tokayev held a series of brief meetings with leaders of states and heads of international organizations.
The Head of State met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Burundian President Evariste Ndayishimiye and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeo.
Tokayev also held talks with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus and World Trade Organization Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
