President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed the candidacy of Aibek Dadebay for the post of Chairman of the Kurultai. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Tokayev asked the deputies of the Kurultai to support the candidacy of Aibek Arkabayuly Dadebay. In his speech, he noted that Dadebay has served for many years in the public administration system, proving himself as an educated, patriotic, and honest citizen through concrete actions.
"I propose the candidacy of Aibek Arkabayuly Dadebay for this responsible position. He has served for many years in the public administration system. He has proven through his concrete actions that he is an educated, patriotic, and honest citizen. Therefore, I consider him worthy of this position. I ask the deputies of the Kurultai to support the candidacy of Aibek Arkabayuly Dadebay," said Tokayev.
It should be noted that according to Article 57 of the Constitution, the candidacy for the post of Chairman of the Kurultai is proposed by the President. The deputies elect him through a secret ballot.
