President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev named important tasks facing the Kurultai. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Today, the President opened the first session of the Kurultai and outlined tasks requiring legislative consideration:

  • 01introduction of the "E-Parliament" information system;
  • 02introduction of artificial intelligence in secondary education;
  • 03development of the digital assets industry;
  • 04introduction of the "Golden Visa";
  • 05improvement of migration policy;
  • 06development of the draft law "On Libraries and Publishing";
  • 07formation of the legislative basis for the "Shamshi Kaldayakov" medal and the honorary title "Honored Artist of Kazakhstan";
  • 08adoption of a law on comprehensive support for children with special needs;
  • 09ban on registration of children under 16 in social networks;
  • 10ensuring technological stability of the energy sector;
  • 11accelerated consideration of draft laws allowing the development of alternative energy sources;
  • 12consideration of laws related to online platforms and mass media;
  • 13adoption of additional measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens in the information space.

Also, the President touched upon the issue of establishing new values in society.

"The formation of a new ethics is undoubtedly connected with the behavior of citizens before the country, as well as civil servants. It is necessary to prevent unsightly, inappropriate actions in public places. Deputies, along with adopting laws, should contribute to the promotion of new public ethics. This is also an important issue directly related to national interests," Tokayev said.
