Dauren Kosanov reported on the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, activities within the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, and the development of automated control systems and digital infrastructure of the ministry.
He also outlined the preparation for the strategic command-staff exercise "Batyl Toityrys – 2026," aimed at ensuring communication between military command bodies and enhancing the combat potential of troops.
"The successful completion of the mission of the second national contingent on the Golan Heights and the start of rotation of the third contingent were noted, as well as the high appreciation by the international community of the contribution of Kazakhstani military personnel to peace and security," the statement said.
A report was also given on the conscription campaign and efforts to raise the status of military personnel, with attention paid to preparations for the international military-patriotic youth gathering "Aibyn – 2026" in Burabay from June 21 to 27.
The head of state set a number of tasks aimed at improving the combat training system of the Armed Forces, digital transformation of the army, and strengthening the country's defense capability.
