Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed the head of the apparatus of the Security Council of Kazakhstan and his deputies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
New Appointments
By decree of the President, Murat Kalibekovich Baimukashev was appointed as the Head of the Apparatus of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was relieved of his previous position.
Also, Nurzhan Kadzhiakbarov was appointed as the First Deputy Head of the Security Council Apparatus, Ruslan Zhaksylykov and Gennady Zuev as deputies.

Murat Baimukashev was born in 1967. In 1994 he graduated from the Kazakh Agricultural Institute (specialty "mechanical engineer"), in 1998 - Karaganda Higher School of the KNB (specialty "lawyer-jurist"), in 2015 - the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (Master of Public Administration).
From 1994 to 2009 he worked in law enforcement agencies (internal affairs bodies, General Prosecutor's Office). From 2009 to 2019 - Deputy Head, Head of the Defense and Law and Order Department of the Prime Minister's Office. From 2019 to 2020 - Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2020 to 2021 - Chairman of the Administrative Police Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2021 to 2022 - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2022 to 2023 - First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From September 1, 2023 - Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Murat Baimukashev was awarded the orders "Kurmet" (2013), II degree "Aibyn" (2020). In 2021, he was awarded the special rank of Major General of Police.
