President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, together with the heads of CIS states, got acquainted with the cuisine of the Commonwealth countries at a national dishes festival. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The event was announced by the press service of the Akorda.
Turkmenistan Pavilion
At the Turkmenistan pavilion, guests were shown local melons and gourds, bakery products and an exhibition of carpets. A literary and musical performance titled "Oguzlar" was also held there.
Participants were also presented with Turkmen carpets and thematic zones of the Kazakhstan pavilion.
Kazakhstan Pavilion
The Kazakhstan pavilion brought together several thematic zones dedicated to the country's history, culture and modern achievements.
Award Ceremony
During the festival, in the presence of the leaders, the winners of the interstate television film competition "Flight of the Steed: Strength and Grace" were awarded.
Working Visit
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that the President of Kazakhstan is in Turkmenistan on a working visit. The leaders Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Serdar Berdimuhamedov met and discussed prospects for joint projects in energy, industry and transport.
