President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin held talks at the XXII Interregional Cooperation Forum. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the forum, issues of trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries were considered. The parties paid special attention to strengthening interregional ties.
Tokayev and Putin emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects. The meeting discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The presidents expressed readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
A number of documents were signed within the framework of the forum. These documents cover cooperation in the economy, energy, transport, and other areas. Following the meeting, it was noted that the strategic partnership between the two countries will be further strengthened.
