President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan discussed the development of bilateral cooperation and joint trade, economic and investment projects. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
During the phone conversation, Pashinyan congratulated Tokayev on the successful holding of elections to the unicameral Kurultai, noting the historical significance of this event for Kazakhstan.
The President thanked the Prime Minister of Armenia for the congratulations, as well as for the participation of the country's representatives in the international observers mission.
The parties also discussed the current state and prospects for expanding Kazakh-Armenian cooperation. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint trade, economic and investment projects.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic the development of bilateral relations and joint projects in energy, transport and logistics, agriculture and digitalization. Vucic also congratulated Tokayev on the elections to the Kurultai.
In addition, Tokayev previously thanked Vladimir Putin, Sadyr Japarov, Ilham Aliyev, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon for their congratulations on the first elections to the unicameral Kurultai. Congratulations also came from the leaders of the SCO, CIS, CSTO, EAEU, ECO and TURKSOY.
