Tokayev lays flowers at memorial plaque to his father in Omsk

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev laid flowers at a memorial plaque to Kemel Tokayev on the facade of the Omsk hospital for war veterans and paid tribute to the fallen soldiers of World War II. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Since July 1941, about 150,000 wounded soldiers have been treated at the medical facility. Among them was the President's father, Kemel Tokayev, who underwent treatment there from February to June 1945.
