Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Uzbekistan presidential administration. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The President noted that Mirziyoyeva's visit is of particular importance for advancing the strategic partnership between Astana and Tashkent.

"I believe your visit will be very useful for developing the common cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In our political systems, presidential administrations play a special role. I always support the activation of working relations between administrations. Both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are large states in terms of overall indicators. Our countries are now at a turning point in development. We need peace and security. Only then can we successfully implement reforms," Tokayev said.

The head of state noted that 2026 has been declared the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan. Tokayev recalled his working trip to Bukhara with special gratitude.

"We had the opportunity to get acquainted with Uzbekistan's achievements in many areas, including the introduction of artificial intelligence and digitalization. The world is actively moving towards the development of artificial intelligence. In this regard, we too must keep up with modern trends," Tokayev said.
